About me
My name is Andreas Loukatzis, I was born on 25th of November 1994 at Nicosia. I work as a freelance Lawyer and Law Lecturer in various institutions
I am a graduate of the University of Nicosia Law School and I hold the title of Bachelor of Laws (LLB).
I also accomplished the Masters of Law (LLM) in European Law and Human Rights from the University of Nicosia.
I also accomplished the Doctorate in Law (Ph.D) in Criminal Law and Criminology from the European University.
I have worked at the Law Office of the Republic (Cyprus) in Criminal Cases that mainly concerned the Criminal Court but also in Civil Law Cases.
Currently, I’m working as a freelance Litigation Lawyer specializing in Criminal Cases with considerable experience in Civil Cases.
My specialization extends to working as a Law Lecturer in both English and Greek at esteemed Universities.
I am also a member of the Cyprus Bar Association and I have successfully completed the Law Council exams from the first time with a grade of Very Good.
I have been previously selected by a committee of Chancellors and Criminologists as a Doctoral Candidate (PHD) at the European University of Cyprus before finally awarded my Doctorate title in 2024.
My PhD examines the crime of bullying against minors from a criminal and criminological point of view. Comparative research based on Cypriot Law.
I have carried out researches and have attended conferences mainly related to the subject of Bullying, Juvenile delinquency and reformation, the Cypriot Criminal Code and the Cypriot Penal System.
Based on the above experience, I am considered to be the one of the most qualified in matters related to Criminal Law. I consider myself as Decisive, Energetic and Pleasant. I like to pay attention to detail and overcome any problems so I can achieve my goals.
